ABC Supply Company’s $30.5 Million New Central Office Project consists of a 132,000 square-foot, 4-story office building that will initially house 270-300 employees. The building has the future capacity to house 600 ABC employees. Morse Electric began the Design Build phase in early 2019. Through regular design meetings and one-on-one meetings with the Owner & the General Contractor, we were able to understand & adapt the design to meet their current & future needs. This process delivered the best solution, in the most cost effective manor, in about half of the time of a conventional project. Construction began in May of 2019 and was completed in early 2020.
Morse Electric’s scope of work for this design build project included:
- All line and low voltage system wiring including data, security, HVAC control, paging system, fire alarm, elevators, and lighting control
- 200 kW diesel backup generator with a 785-gallon fuel tank
- 50kVA UPS system
- (2) electric car charging stations
- Parking lot expansion including 25 new light poles with security cameras installed with fiber connections and new 200 amp electrical service powering hydronic pumps for sidewalk snow removal
