Stainless Tank & Equipment

Beloit, WI

Project Overview:

Stainless Tank & Equipment (STE) is a new 350,900 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. This was a fast-paced Design Build project. In just eight months, crews went from installing the first precast wall section to the substantial completion of the core and shell. There are four electrical rooms servicing the facility. Three of which provide 3000A service (each) and the fourth provides 2000A service. The production area contains nearly 2,800′ of 1600A rated busway feeding equipment drops, and seven IDF cabinets to provide ethernet for wireless access points, machinery, card access devices, and security cameras. The office areas feature continuous linear lighting measuring 184′ in total. The installation required close coordination with other trades to ensure mounting locations were available for the hangers.

Morse Electric demonstrated tremendous adaptability throughout the project. The crew’s flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed avoided work stoppage and maintained the project schedule.
